Each build has been extensively tested in endgame content including The Pit, Infernal Hordes, and boss farming.
Season 10 introduced massive power creep with the Spiritborn class, forcing tier lists to add an S+ category. The Vessel of Hatred expansion brought Chaos Perks, new unique items, and significant class rebalancing. Sorcerer, Necromancer, and Druid all received substantial buffs, while Spiritborn builds sit in a tier of their own.
Spiritborn (S+ Tier): The new class is completely broken in Season 10. Evade Spiritborn and Quill Volley Spiritborn dominate endgame pushing with unprecedented damage and survivability. Requires Vessel of Hatred DLC.
Sorcerer (S-Tier): Hydra and Ball Lightning builds lead the pack with exceptional damage output and speed farming capability. Lightning Spear remains the best boss killer.
Necromancer (S-Tier): Shadowblight is the best overall non-Spiritborn build with insane survivability and damage. Bone Spirit and Blood Wave also excel in endgame pushing.
Druid (S-Tier): Massive buffs in Season 10 pushed multiple builds to S-tier. Pulverize offers perfect tankiness/damage balance while Cataclysm delivers extreme burst potential.
Rogue (A-Tier): Death Trap and Dance of Knives remain top-tier for speed and burst damage, though they require more skill than other classes. Glass cannon playstyle rewards execution.
Barbarian (A-Tier): Lunging Strike and Hammer of the Ancients lead Barbarian builds, offering great mobility and damage. Whirlwind remains the easiest speed farming build in the game.
The Pit: Timed dungeon pushing requiring high damage and survivability. S-tier builds excel here with Shadowblight Necromancer and Evade Spiritborn dominating Tier 150+.
Infernal Hordes: Wave-based mode rewarding fast clear speed. Ball Lightning Sorcerer, Blood Wave Necromancer, and Whirlwind Barbarian excel at speed farming this content.
Boss Farming: Uber bosses require specialized single-target builds. Bone Spirit Necromancer, Lightning Spear Sorcerer, and Hammer of the Ancients Barbarian are top choices for boss kills.
Season 10's Chaos Perks system provides massive passive bonuses that synergize with every build. The Vessel of Hatred expansion introduced the Spiritborn class and numerous new unique items like Harmony of Ebewaka and The Seeker, completely reshaping the endgame meta. Existing classes received significant buffs through new aspects and rebalanced skills.
All builds in this tier list are endgame viable in Season 10. Your personal skill, gear investment, and playstyle preferences matter more than tier placement for enjoying Diablo 4. Experiment with different builds to find what suits your playstyle best!
